About the job | Customer insight and product development

As Product Portfolio Manager at Karnov Denmark, you will work with product discovery for local and Group products and contribute to the development of the Danish product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with Product Operations, Insights, UX & Design and colleagues across Content, Technology, Sales and Marketing.

A central part of your role will be talking to customers, analysing product and user data, and translating your findings into clearly defined customer needs and product priorities. You will help identify the problems worth solving and contribute to solutions that support customers in their daily work.

Karnov’s editorial teams provide the expert content on which its products are built. Working closely with these teams and the Product Manager responsible for development on the Danish platform, you will help ensure that the Danish offering continues to meet customer needs. This includes helping drive improvements to the structure of the Danish content packages and ensuring that these changes are reflected correctly on the platform.

You will also connect colleagues across departments, helping knowledge and customer insights flow between the teams developing the products and those bringing them to market.

An international role | Representing Danish customer needs

You will represent Denmark in the work on Karnov’s shared AI products. As one of four Product Portfolio Managers working with the Group Product Team, you will contribute Danish market and customer insights to the prioritisation of AI capabilities alongside colleagues representing Sweden, France and Spain.

You will report to Jesper Lehrmann, Director of Product Management and Project Portfolio.

About you | Legal insight and digital product experience

You bring professional experience of working closely with digital products and an understanding of the Danish legal market or the workflows of professionals who rely on legal and regulatory information. Relevant experience can come from several backgrounds.

Legal, LegalTech and knowledge roles

You may have worked in legal practice, LegalTech, legal operations, knowledge management or legal content, with direct involvement in developing or improving digital products and services.

Product Management and digitalisation

Alternatively, you may bring experience in Product Management or digitalisation, including within the public sector, combined with insight into legal or regulatory information and the needs of its users.

These are examples rather than a fixed list. A legal qualification is welcome but not essential. What matters is how you combine relevant domain knowledge, digital product experience and an understanding of customers.

• Have contributed to the development or improvement of digital products and services.
• Understand how customer insight and data can inform product decisions.
• Enjoy engaging with customers and exploring the needs behind their requests.
• Are proactive and comfortable working with stakeholders across departments and countries.
• Build trust and credibility, communicate clearly and help move shared priorities forward.
• Have a natural interest in AI and experience of using it in practice.

Languages

Native-level Danish and professional proficiency in English are required. You will work closely with Danish editorial teams and colleagues, while much of the collaboration across Product and Technology takes place in English.

Product discovery

Hands-on experience with product discovery is an advantage. Karnov’s approach draws on Marty Cagan and Teresa Torres, with a focus on understanding customer problems and delivering valuable outcomes.

You do not need to have worked with these specific frameworks. If you bring relevant product experience and understand how customer insight and data inform decisions, Karnov will support you in building on that foundation.

You will work alongside colleagues with specialist AI expertise. Your contribution will centre on understanding users, their workflows and the value the products can create for them.

Your workplace will be Karnov Group’s office at Sankt Petri Passage 5, 1165 Copenhagen K, close to Nørreport Station.

You can expect two to four international trips a year, typically lasting two to three days each, usually to Stockholm, Paris or Madrid.
