ECCO is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Executive Secretary to join the Executive Office, which provides qualified support and strategic advisory services directly to the Managing Board, and for the purpose of this ECCO has retained PBO Juridisk Rekruttering to conduct this search for the right candidate on behalf of ECCO.

In this role, you will report to Kim Dollerup Jepsen, VP, Executive Office, serving as your primary point of guidance and leadership while supporting the Executive Office’s work for the Managing Board. Acting as a vital link between the Managing Board and the
wider organisation, the Executive Office drives structure, clarity and alignment across key initiatives and leadership priorities.
Your team
You will join a trusted and professional team, where precision and discretion are paramount – and where your contributions will directly support ECCO’s strategic direction and global ambitions. The team consists of like-minded colleagues, including the strategy team, communication employees and several experienced EAs and PAs within your immediate work environment. Together, you will collaborate closely on a range of exciting projects, including the implementation of a new board portal in close cooperation with the Lead Secretary for ECCO Holding, and ensure that critical processes and initiatives are executed smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities
Your primary focus will be to bring structure, clarity and consistency to all executive-level processes. Among your tasks will be:
- Preparing structured agendas and accurate minutes for executive and board meetings.
- Coordinating briefing materials, background documentation and follow-ups to key action points.
- Providing strong secretarial support to the Managing Board and the broader Executive Office in all traditional areas of an executive assistant role.
- Drafting, proofreading and refining internal instructions, market memos and executive communications.
- Managing confidential business and personnel information, requiring deep knowledge of the organisation, including financial and authorisation processes.
- Ensuring structure, consistency and transparency in all processes.
- Managing the board portal, maintaining the annual governance calendar and improving filing and archiving systems.
- Reviewing and standardising executive-level materials to ensure clarity, quality and alignment across the organisation.
- Handling a range of ad hoc assignments and perform other duties as assigned to support the VP and the broader work of the Executive Office.
What we expect from you
You are highly organized, detail-driven and thrive in a dynamic, high-stakes environment. You are confident engaging with senior stakeholders and handling confidential information with discretion and integrity. More specifically, you:
- May hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Management, or a related field and/or have a background as a Legal Secretary, Paralegal or Executive Secretary.
- Have gained your experience from, for example, the legal profession, in-house positions or similar companies.
- Bring 3+ years of relevant experience in an executive administrative role, supporting senior management or boardlevel governance, ideally from similar organizations or law firms.
- Are fluent in written and spoken Danish and English.
- Have strong communication skills, a refined sense of tone and style, and the ability to produce clear, concise and wellcrafted written material.
- Possess excellent organizational and time-management abilities and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Word.
- Have a solid understanding of corporate governance and board procedures.
- Excel in building relationships and acting as a trusted link between senior management and the wider organization, ensuring alignment and clarity across key initiatives.
- Are an outgoing and positive person with strong relationshipbuilding capabilities, a true team player with a sense of humour, and a strong sense of commitment.

What we offer
You will be offered an attractive salary and employment package, including a pension scheme with 12% contribution (of which 4% is your own contribution), as well as covered expenses for internet, phone, and other relevant benefits.
This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week, including a paid lunch break, with five weeks of annual holiday and an additional sixth week in the form of special leave days.
Your primary workplace will be at our office in Tønder. However, as ECCO also has office facilities in Bredebro, you should be prepared to work regularly from Bredebro should the business needs require a change in location.
We value flexible working arrangements and a healthy work-life balance, including the possibility to work from home subject to individual agreement.
Start date is as soon as possible and by further agreement.
